This multi-city educational seminar series for PerkinElmer’s OneSource Laboratory Services division had a significant, positive impact on revenue and further cemented PerkinElmer’s position as a leading provider of laboratory compliance services for customers in regulated markets.

PerkinElmer’s OneSource Laboratory Services division sought to further cement its leadership position as a provider of regulatory compliance solutions. Following the acquisition of LabMetrix Technologies, the largest independent provider of metrology-based multi-vendor analytical instrument qualification solutions, PerkinElmer was also looking to educate the market on and drive demand for this newly acquired laboratory compliance service offering.

The North American Laboratory Compliance Seminar Tour was held in metro areas throughout the U.S. and Canada that were known for having higher concentrations of companies within highly regulated industries. These half-day educational seminars featured a renowned international regulatory compliance expert and an in-house expert as speakers on critical regulatory changes and industry trends. I was responsible for strategy development, logistics, and marketing promotion for all seminars in the series.

Seminars were held in dozens of cities and attended by hundreds of prospects, with this high impact lead generation activity ultimately leading to significant revenue gains. Due to the success of this seminar tour, I was awarded with the PerkinElmer Level III Better Outcomes Award. Presented by the President of PerkinElmer’s Laboratory Services division for my role in formulating and spearheading the successful North American Laboratory Compliance Seminar Series, this is one of the highest individual awards given by the corporation and is designed to recognize “a large scope contribution or achievement that has a significant, positive, long term impact on cost savings or revenue and requires great personal sacrifices.”
